    Hi everyone,

I’d like to get a toll free fax number, but I do not have a fax machine. I have heard of getting faxes sent to you delivered on your email and sending them out through your email, and on the other end it looks like it came from a regular fax machine.

Does anybody have any suggestions or resources on getting this type of fax system set up? Is it any good, does it really work the way I think it will? Any other suggestions or things to consider on this topic?

David I have used RingCental for several years. They can help you with both the 800 number and faxing electronically. It all works very well. Low monthly fee.

I’m using RingCentral as well. One thing to note is that they have two pricing pages. One of them is harder to find on the site. I’m currently using the ProPlus plan (first link). The fax number is the same as the phone number. Everything seems to work OK, though the voice quality suffers some when I’m on a cell and have a weaker signal.

Thank you Brad and Steve for the assistance. I also read good online reviews of ringcentral.

I’m using onlinefaxes.com. I got the idea from Luke Smith. I think if you go to the page and then try to navigate away, a pop up will show that offers you like $1 a month for faxes. Works great, I get them emailed to me.

I just recommended this service to another person and had to dig up the $1 a month link from onlinefaxes.com so I figured I’d post it here: http://www.onlinefaxes.com/abuckamonth/

Wish I had seen this sooner, I just signed up with Faxaway they charge a $1 a month maintenance fee. Sounds like the same deal as the site above but the onlinefaxes.com site looks much more up to date.
