    Is anyone using private money lenders (other peoples money) in their land business? I’m thinking where you borrow money and then just pay interest on that money as long as you have it.

    Do you have an agreement you use as an example that I could look over that you have no used for this type of loan?

  • I second the comment about Podio. I’ve been slowing building out a system for my workflow within Podio. Everything from tracking aquisition of properties to keeping track of inventory and sales.

  • What would it mean when you have a deed that has a title company and an individuals name on a deed? Like this:

    FIRST AMERICAN TITLE INS CO #2347 DOE JOHN R & JANE B

    Would you need John & Jane Doe to sign and someone from First American Title? Or what is that?

  • Thanks Jill. So you think if the deal is anything outside of a straight owner as seller deal it’s best to avoid at this point? It seems a shame to let all of those trust deals go by the wayside. I’ve got about 4 different deals right now that involve trusts of some sort and another few that are straight up owner as seller deals.
