Does anyone have any opinions on how websites from the buying or selling side impact their ability to sell property when starting out. At what point did you build a site? What was the biggest difference you saw once it was up?

Ben – You really need a website. You can combine the selling and the buying on one site like I do or set up two separate sites. The website helps build your credibility with someone who has just received your letter. I think the site is most important on the buying side so that the seller can look and say “Oh yeah, this is a real company”. You need the web site to be up and running when your first offers goes out in the mail.

For someone who is not as tech Savvy, do you have any recommendations for platforms that provide website templates? Thanks for your help.

You can also hire someone cheap to get you going on Fiverr or UpWork.

Great advice from Kevin. People will look you up & having an online presence makes a difference. You can make it fancy later…
