I’ve started looking at other sites besides Zillow and Redfin for DOM/For Sale/Sold data, and I am finding MAJOR differences in the numbers reported. The DOM numbers aren’t even in the same ballpark across all of the sites, and the county for sale data isn’t any better! Redfin shows 43 for sale in one county that I’ve already mailed, and Realtor show 602 .. WTH? How does anyone makes sense of this data when the numbers are so skewed? How does one approach this and get the “actual” data?

Having done more comparisons, it seems that Redfin data is highly inaccurate in some counties when compared to Zillow and Realtor. I believe I may have just answered my own question.

Regarding the mailers, I sent out my first batch and I noticed I had the same reference # on all letters. Are you guys assigning each it’s individual reference #?. And how are you guys checking those reference #’s?. Can you check reference on o2o?
