I received a call about an infill lot in North Carolina that seems to have a quit claim deem. Is this of any concern and do i transfer the deed with another quit claim or can it be converted to a warranty deed?
NC is an attorney state, meaning, you have to close with an attorney in that state. your attorney will be able to tell you if its an issue and handle the closing. but in general, quit claim deed to warranty deed isn’t a problem.
