What are the reasons that people might not want to do deals in North Carolina?

NC is an attorney state so you’ll have to use an attorney to close the buy and sell side of the deal. ~$1k when you buy, closer to $500 when you sell if you pay to have hold open status. I’ve heard of people self closing countless deals in NC without an attorney, but being new I wouldn’t run the risk. Just my $0.02
